Host families are matched to each student based on their personality preferences and geolocation. Students are provided with their own bedroom and three meals a day

Halton District School Board: Standard academic courses

Mathematics, science, English language arts, comprehension, history, and foreign languages such as French, German, and Spanish.

Electives cover a range of subjects including business education (accounting, entrepreneurship, and marketing); computer science (computer animation, web design, and robotics); drama, art, music, home economics, and technical education.

Some schools in the district also offer the IB (International Baccalaureate) program.

Homestay Registration Fee: $650 one-time

Homestay Monthly Fee: $1,000

Annual Health Fee: $550 per year

Guardianship Fee: $1,500
